Hadid Cortez (Earliteens)

Upper Youth Lodge

Hadid Cortez was born in Montemorelos, Mexico to a pastoral family. He graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Religion. In 2023 he graduated with a Masters in Divinity from the SDA Theological Seminary. Since 2018, he has been employed by the New Jersey Conference of SDA, where he serves as head pastor of a 3-church district. He married his wife, Yessica Cabezas, in 2020 and they both happily reside in Northern New Jersey. Pastor Cortez has a special passion for youth ministry and music ministry, but above all things loves serving the Lord.

Rachel Arner (Youth)

The Gap

Rachel Arner is from Michigan and is graduating with her Mdiv in May of this year. She is excited to come fellowship with one another at camp meeting this year, as she is passionate about Jesus, and sharing the hope of Him with others and together. Rachel has a podcast called PreacherGirl where she shares encouraging words of hope and scripture with her listeners. Rachel has a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd herd named Teddy and they love to take walks outside.
