We are the McPhersons – a Pastor’s family currently serving the SDA Denomination in a three – Church district in Northern B.C.

Amy is a homeschool Mom who enjoys the flexibility that it provides. We have a network with other homeschool families and join in numerous extra-curricular activities such as hiking, camping, swimming, skiing, skating, boating, horseback riding and more!  We also enjoy learning the fine arts, such as cooking/baking, art/painting, sewing, learning to play musical instruments, and recently added choir.

Since becoming a mother, Amy has been continuously involved in Children’s ministry in the Church, in the capacity of various Sabbath School teaching positions and assisting the Leader in the Adventurer club. This is Amy’s 8^th year as Leader in the 0-2 Division at Camp Hope. The children are now working with their parents in learning how to teach Jesus to others. They are learning how to write and conduct Bible studies and they play a significant role in the music ministry in our Churches. The children are a witness as they share the gifts God has blessed them with both with instruments and voice. 2 Timothy 3:15 reminds us, “that from childhood you have known the Holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation.” It is our desire this Campmeeting to help lay that foundation for even the youngest of children.
